Meet your instructor

Richard is an experienced Agricultural Health & Safety and Advisor and Rural Crime Prevention expert. He has worked in health and safety / risk management for over 25 years and has extensive experience in the Agricultural and Landed Estate sectors. Richard currently works with some renowned farms and estates throughout the UK and provides practical, pragmatic advice and assistance enabling organisations to operate effectively whilst ensuring that their most valuable asset, their people, are as safe as possible at work. Richard holds the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, the BTEC National Diploma in Environmental Health and is also a Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 Health & Safety. He is also the author and developer of numerous online health and safety and crime prevention courses. Richard served in the British Army for 15 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps, where he achieved the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2. He has worked as a Government Health and Safety Advisor in the UK and New Zealand and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his training courses.

    Our courses are designed to be fun and interactive, so we use a variety of content including video, text, voice-over PowerPoint presentations, and quizes. Uniquely, we also have an "Interactive Farm" where the student can literally walk around the Farm looking for hazards and clicking immediately downloadable information.

  • Is there a time limit to complete the course in?

    No. There are no set time limits. You can go as fast or as slow as you wish.

  • Will I get a course certificate?

    Yes. Every successful student will be awarded a certificate of attendance. We recommend a refresher course every 2 years.

  • Do I have access to any suppport if I have a problem?
